On the bottom line of the app, www.DigitaKids.com opens the site. On a narrow window the text shrinks so the name stays readable.

Tablet: DigitaKids does not work with the on-screen keyboard. You need a Bluetooth keyboard (or USB). Without a physical keyboard, the child opens the game and cannot type anything — that is not a bug.

File check (SHA-256): be713de901456f9f8546756aa684683980b04531d4f7f501758701c3afb7ea2d. The person who looks after the lab compares this number with the downloaded file. The same number is in the check file.

Windows warning when installing

When you open the installer, Windows may show “Windows protected your PC” (Microsoft Defender SmartScreen). That is expected while DigitaKids does not yet have a code-signing certificate — the file comes from digitakids.com and is free.

After that warning, Windows may ask for the administrator password (User Account Control). In the lab that password stays with the person who manages the computers. Ask them for an install on each computer.
