1. Playing without an account
DigitaKids can be used without signing up. Local progress and the local Top 5 stay on the device and are not sent to our servers unless you choose to submit the session to the world or country ranking.
If you submit without creating an account, we collect: public nickname, country, session metrics (score, WPM, accuracy, levels, channel, version) and IP. We do not ask for email, password or date of birth in that mode. The browser may remember the nickname on this device.

3. Optional account data (online ranking)
If you create an account for the online ranking, we collect: public name, email (preferably the guardian's), country, date of birth, password (stored securely), IP and signup/login timestamps, and submitted sessions (score, WPM, accuracy, levels, browser or Windows app, version, submission IP).
We never ask for national ID, phone number, address or photo.
4. Purposes
- Authenticate accounts and display rankings (global, country, history)
- Prevent abuse (rate limiting, IP/user blocking, moderation)
- Administrative auditing and service stability
5. Children
Account data is processed based on the consent given at signup. Under 13: a guardian's declaration is required. We recommend using the guardian's email.
6. Public ranking
Shows only the chosen name, country and metrics — for guests and for accounts. Email and date of birth are never shown on the public ranking.
7. Your rights
Access, correction, deletion/anonymisation and withdrawal of consent (which ends the online ranking; playing without an account continues). Requests: the email above.
8. Security, cookies and analytics
Passwords are stored securely; the admin area has abuse protections. Progress, the local ranking and the visit or account nickname stay on this computer or in this browser. Admin uses a protected session cookie.
The public website (pages and the browser game) uses Google Analytics 4 for aggregate visit statistics (pages, approximate country/device). This involves Google cookies/identifiers. The offline Windows app loads no analytics.
9. Language of this page
This is a translation. The service is operated from Brazil and the Portuguese version is the authoritative text under the LGPD; if the two ever diverge, the Portuguese one prevails.
